RIP- Mark Gil Dies at Age 52

 Actor Mark Gil passed away at 8 a.m. on Monday, his manager, June Rufino, confirmed.

Gil died of liver cirrhosis.

Raphael Joseph De Mesa Eigenmann in real life, the late actor would have been 53 years old this September 25.

Early this year, it was rumored that Gil had cancer but this was refuted by his children.

Rufino said the Eigenmann family is asking for privacy but will be issuing a statement regarding the actor’s death within the day.

“As of now, the family is in deep grieving and they want private time with him,” Rufino said in a statement.

Rufino added that Gil’s loved ones are asking for prayers for the repose of the actor's soul. They are also asking for prayers so that they may overcome this ordeal.[source]
